Protection Partners, Inc. (doing business as Protection Partners Agency)

Effective Date: October 1, 2026 | Last Updated: October 1, 2026

Privacy at a glance

We collect information you give us, or our licensed agents collect with your permission, so we can quote, place, and service your insurance.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing.

Your mobile number and text-message consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We share information only as needed to serve you, for example with the insurance companies you ask us to quote, and as the law permits or requires.

You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP. You can also contact us using any of the methods in Section 17.

1. Who We Are and What This Statement Covers

Protection Partners, Inc., doing business as Protection Partners Agency ("Protection Partners," "we," "us," or "our"), is an independent insurance agency licensed in Florida (Agency License No. 17298561) and in other states where we are licensed. This Privacy Statement explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information.

This Statement applies to information collected through: (a) our primary website at ProtectionPartners.Net; (b) every promotional, campaign, and landing-page website we operate, and every other website, domain, and landing page owned or operated by Protection Partners, Inc. (together with the primary website, the "Sites"); (c) our text-messaging, email, and telephone programs; and (d) our licensed agents and staff when they interact with you in person, by phone, or electronically. Collectively, we call these our "Services."

Because we are a licensed insurance agency, we are also subject to the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act ("GLBA") and to state insurance privacy laws, including Florida Administrative Code Chapter 69O-128 (Privacy of Consumer Financial and Health Information). Sections 6 and 7 are our privacy notice under those laws.

2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide
  • Contact information: name, mailing and property address, email address, and mobile and landline telephone numbers.
  • Insurance information: details about your home, property, vehicles, drivers, household members, business, current and prior insurance, declarations pages, renewal notices, premiums, coverage limits, deductibles, and claims history.
  • Identifiers needed for underwriting: date of birth, driver's license number, vehicle identification numbers and, only when an insurer requires it, Social Security number.
  • Health information: only if you apply for life, health, disability, or long-term care coverage, and only as that insurer requires.
  • Communications: messages, form submissions, appointment requests, survey responses, reviews, and recorded calls (see our Terms & Conditions for call-recording notice).
2.2 Information collected by our agents and staff

Our licensed agents and staff may collect the same categories of information in person, by phone, or through electronic applications while helping you. That information is protected under this Statement the same way as information you submit online.

2.3 Information from other sources

To provide accurate quotes and complete applications, we or the insurers we work with may obtain information from insurance companies, motor vehicle records, claims-history databases, property-data providers, and consumer reporting agencies (for example, insurance-based credit information). This is done only as permitted by the Fair Credit Reporting Act and applicable state law.

2.4 Information collected automatically

When you visit the Sites, we and our service providers automatically collect device and usage information. This includes IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring URLs, campaign codes, and the date and time of your visit. It is collected through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (see Section 8).

2.5 Text-messaging and consent records

When you agree to receive text messages, we keep a record of your consent. This record includes your mobile number, the date and time, the Site or method used, the IP address or the agent involved, the exact consent language presented to you, and your opt-in and opt-out history. We keep these records to honor your choices and to show that we followed the law.

3. How We Use Your Information
  • To prepare quotes, compare coverage, submit applications, and help you buy, renew, change, or cancel insurance.
  • To schedule and confirm appointments and policy reviews, and to send reminders.
  • To service your account, including renewal and payment reminders, document requests, policy updates, and help with claims.
  • With your consent: to send marketing and promotional messages by text, email, and phone, including offers, policy-review invitations, savings campaigns, events, and referral programs.
  • To measure and report campaign results. Any public results (for example, a savings total) are shown only in aggregated or de-identified form, unless you give us separate written permission to share your story.
  • To verify identity, prevent fraud, protect our Services, and keep records of consent and opt-out requests.
  • To comply with insurance, consumer-protection, tax, and other legal obligations, and to respond to regulators and lawful requests.
  • To improve our Sites, Services, training, and customer experience.
4. Our Text-Messaging Program

Protection Partners Agency and its licensed agents send text messages only to people who have given the consent required by law. Messages may be sent using automated technology through our agency texting platform. The program, message types, frequency, and opt-out instructions are described in the "Text Messaging Terms" section of our Terms & Conditions.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories of disclosure described in this Privacy Statement exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, except with the service providers that operate our texting platform and the wireless carriers that deliver messages, solely to provide the messaging service to you.

Please do not send Social Security numbers, full bank account or card numbers, or health information by text message. We will provide a secure method for sensitive documents.

5. We Do Not Sell Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties so that they can market their own products to you. We do not buy lead lists and send you texts based on consent you gave to another company.

6. When We Disclose Information

We disclose personal information outside our agency only in the limited situations below. Each is necessary to provide the Services you request or is permitted or required by law, including the exceptions in the GLBA and Fla. Admin. Code Rules 69O-128.012 through 69O-128.014.

We do not disclose nonpublic personal health information without your authorization, except as permitted by law.

7. Insurance Privacy Notice (GLBA and Florida)

We do not disclose nonpublic personal financial information about current or former customers or consumers to nonaffiliated third parties, except as permitted by law (Section 6). Because we do not share information in ways that require an opt-out, no opt-out is needed. If our practices change so that an opt-out right applies, we will give you advance notice and a reasonable way to opt out before sharing. We limit employee access to nonpublic personal information to people who need it to serve you.

8. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising Technology

The Sites use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Sites, remember your preferences, understand how visitors use our pages, and measure the results of our advertising. We may use analytics and advertising tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) conversion tools. These providers may collect device and browsing information when you visit the Sites. We configure these tools so that the contents of our forms, such as your name, phone number, and insurance details, are not sent to advertising platforms.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. You can opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout and adjust ad preferences in your Google and Meta account settings. We treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as a request to opt out of targeted advertising for that browser, where required by law. Our Sites do not otherwise respond to "Do Not Track" signals.

9. Your Choices
  • Text messages: Reply STOP to any message to opt out of text messages. You may also tell any agent, text us at (772) 297-2272, call (888) 801-8814, or email Info@ProtectionPartners.Net. See the Text Messaging Terms for other options.
  • Email: Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. We process requests within 10 business days.
  • Phone calls: Ask any agent to add you to our internal do-not-call list.
  • Opting out of marketing does not affect messages you need to manage your policy that are permitted by law (for example, a response to your own request), or your insurance coverage.
10. How We Protect Information

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, as required by Fla. Stat. 501.171 and other applicable laws. These include access controls, encryption where appropriate, secure vendor platforms, staff training, and secure disposal of records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a data breach occurs, we will notify affected individuals and regulators as required by law. Under Florida law, notice to affected individuals is given no later than 30 days after we determine a breach occurred, unless a lawful delay applies.

11. How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services and as required by insurance record-retention laws, tax laws, and other legal obligations. We then delete or de-identify it. Consent and opt-out records are kept for at least five (5) years after our last message to you, so that we can continue to honor your choices and show that we complied with the law.

12. Your State Privacy Rights

Many state consumer privacy laws exempt information that is covered by the GLBA or by state insurance privacy laws. Even so, depending on where you live and on how the law applies to us, you may have some or all of the following rights for other personal information, such as website browsing data:

  • To know or access the personal information we have about you;
  • To correct inaccurate information;
  • To delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records we must keep under insurance law);
  • To opt out of targeted advertising, "sale," or "sharing" of personal information (we do not sell personal information);
  • To appeal our decision on your request; and
  • Not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Insurance consumers in many states also have the right to access and request correction of recorded personal information under state insurance information privacy laws.

To make a request, email Info@ProtectionPartners.Net or text (772) 297-2272. We will verify your identity before responding. You may use an authorized agent if you give that person written permission, and we may ask you to confirm the request directly. We respond within the time required by law, generally within 45 days. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the word "Appeal." We will respond to appeals as required by applicable law.

California residents: In the preceding 12 months, the categories of personal information we collected are those described in Section 2, for the purposes described in Section 3, and disclosed only as described in Section 6. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, except through the advertising cookies described in Section 8, which you may opt out of as described there. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.

13. Children's Privacy

Our Sites are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. Information about minors, such as a teen driver in your household, is collected only from a parent, guardian, or policyholder as needed for insurance purposes. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Links to Other Websites

Our Sites may link to insurance-company portals, payment sites, review platforms, and other third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Statement.

15. Accessibility

We want this Statement to be available to everyone. If you need it in another format, contact us at text: (772) 297-2272 or email: Info@ProtectionPartners.Net.

16. Changes to This Statement

We may update this Statement from time to time. The "Last Updated" date shows when it was last changed. If we make a material change to how we use or disclose personal information, we will post the updated Statement on the Sites before the change takes effect and, where required by law, notify you directly or ask for your consent. We will never apply a change to share your mobile opt-in data for third-party marketing.
